Export personal data, query histories, locations, and contacts from your Google Account.

Owners of Android mobile devices store personal data in their Google Account. The operating system and profile synchronization feature is activated when you first set up your gadget. It is required for the correct work of the built-in services and applications from Google: Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, query history in the Chrome browser, etc.

When a user performs any action, Google collects data and saves it in the cloud storage. For example, the following information is stored in your personal account:

YouTube data: search and video viewing history, playlists, recommendations, comments, favorite videos.
Location History. Cloud storage contains geodata from location history. Users can see places on the map that they’ve visited over a period of time.
Contacts. Contact information, like phone numbers and email addresses from Gmail, is stored in your Google Account. This allows you to restore lost contacts.
Mail. Saves all the mails and attachments from your Gmail account. Data is saved in MBOX format.
Chrome browser. If you use Google Chrome browser, you can save your bookmarks, browsing and search history, and other settings to your account.
Purchases and bookings. Transactions, deliveries, and online orders remain in your profile. There’s also information about upcoming and completed bookings from other Google services.
Drive. Files that are saved on Google Cloud Storage are stored in the account that is linked to the system.

How do I ask Google for personal information?
The personal data that Google collects can be exported for backup or use in third-party services. The first step is to go to the official website takeout.google.com and create an archive.

When creating the archive, select the data you want to upload: YouTube history, groups, contacts, bookmarks, tasks, drive, maps, and others. You can change the format of some files. For example, you can save contacts as a vCard (to import them into your macOS or iOS contact list) or CSV (to import them into another Google or MS Outlook account).

Click Next. The next step is the archive format. Choose how you want to receive it:

By Link – A link to the archive with the data will be emailed to you. You can download the files within a week.
Save personal information to Google Drive or Dropbox cloud storage.
Add to OneDrive or Box.
Under “Export Type” you can choose “One-time Export” (files will be uploaded once) or regular export every 2 months during the year.

In the last step, select the file format – ZIP or TGZ – and specify the size of the archive. Files that are larger than the size you specified in the last step will be split into several parts.
